My commitment to you

As your celebrant, I will work with you to prepare a ceremony that you will remember and treasure.

I make a commitment that:

• I will ensure all legal requirements have been adhered to according to the Marriage Act 1961 and that all marriages are registered within the prescribed time frame.

• I will be professional, approachable and friendly, conducting my celebrant services according to the celebrant’s Code of Practice.

• I will be available to assist you with all aspects of the ceremony in a relaxed, confident, creative and assuring way paying attention to the detail that will make a difference.

• I will prepare drafts of your ceremony in collaboration with you and ensure that the final ceremony words will be approved by you.

• I will officiate at your ceremony in a warm and sincere way.

• I will be articulate in the delivery of the ceremony.

• I will ensure that all persons in attendance will hear the words of the ceremony.

• I will provide of a high quality portable, battery powered, wireless PA system, with microphones for the groom, readers or performers as well as a CD player for chosen music. I will arrange for technical support whenever the PA system is in use. 

• I will arrive at your ceremony location at least thirty minutes prior to the commencement of the ceremony.

• I will be available for an on site rehearsal wherever possible in the few days before the date of the ceremony.

• I will ensure confidentiality and keep all records secure.

• I will ensure that a registered and appropriate replacement celebrant is available if, through illness or injury I am unable to conduct your ceremony. This will be at no additional cost to you.

• I will provide recommendations for other services where requested.
